These Terms govern your use of the CheerUp iOS app and this website. The Service is operated by Guse LTDA (CNPJ 47.758.713/0001-82, Brazil). By using CheerUp, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. About CheerUp
CheerUp uses Apple's Screen Time APIs to block apps you choose and lets you earn timed access by completing exercise challenges. Contact: contact@guseapp.com.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must meet the minimum age required by law in your location. If you create an account, provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure.
3. Personal Use
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable license to use CheerUp on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple's terms. Do not copy, reverse engineer, redistribute, or misuse the app.
4. Screen Time and Exercise
CheerUp requires Apple's Screen Time authorization to apply shields to apps you select. Blocking depends on iOS, your device, authorization, and Apple's APIs. Exercise counting is a motivational feature, not medical advice or a guarantee of fitness results. Use exercises that are appropriate for you and stop if you feel unwell.
CheerUp is not an emergency, medical, or parental-control service. You remain responsible for your device, selected apps, and Screen Time settings.
5. Purchases and Subscriptions
Some features may require CheerUp Pro. Apple processes purchases and manages billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds under its terms. Current prices, trial eligibility, and subscription details are shown in the App Store and in the app before purchase. Cancel through iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Exercise history, settings, and Screen Time selection tokens are stored locally unless a feature clearly states otherwise. Camera pose counting is processed on device.
7. Availability and Changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain or improve the Service. CheerUp depends on Apple platform features and may not work as expected if permissions are revoked, device settings change, or iOS behavior changes.
8. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided as available without warranties. CheerUp cannot guarantee that app blocking or exercise counting will operate without interruption on every device or in every circumstance.
9. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited. To the extent permitted by law, Guse LTDA is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as CheerUp changes or legal requirements evolve. The latest version will be posted on this website with its updated date.
